The Shenandoah County Library has announced the new Bird Haven Oral History project is now available at

The project showcases the history of the Bird Haven site and the Shenandoah Community workers, which produced wooden toys, furniture and other items for customers around the nation from the 1920s until the early 1960s.

The site contains 14 oral history video interviews of former employees and community members.

The project was produced through a special partnership between the library, James Madison University’s Public History Program and Bird Haven Farm.
