Flames Homeschool Sports, a Christian sports organization for area home-school students, will hold a sports informational meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Virginia Hills Church, 737 Rockland Road, Front Royal.
In the fall, the group will offer cross country for boys and girls ages 6-18, volleyball for girls ages 11-18, soccer for boys ages 11-18, youth development soccer for boys and girls ages 5-11 and basketball for boys and girls ages 11-18.

The Amputee Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the meeting room at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital’s Rehab/Therapy Department in Woodstock.
The Hamburg Ruritan Club will hold a picnic at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Edinburg Park Ruritan Shelter. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.
The Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg will have Frisbee Fun with the Frisbee Guy at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The program is part of the library’s summer reading program where a secret code will be given to earn a special online badge.
The Handley Puppeteers will perform Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the New Market Library and 2 p.m. at the Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg.
The Cedar Creek Valley Ruritan Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gravel Springs Lutheran Church, 870 S. Pifer Road, Star Tannery. Information: 465-4159.
