The Campbell family will hold a reunion starting at noon Sunday at Bing Crosby shelter #5 in Front Royal.
The descendants of Howard and Angie McDonald will hold a reunion beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Lebanon Community Center. Those attending are asked to bring a main dish or dessert.
The Woodstock Fire Department will dedicate its new 2017 aerial ladder truck at 2 p.m. Sunday. An open house with refreshments will follow.
The Himelright family will hold a reunion from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Woodbine Farm Market, 5199 John Marshall Highway, Strasburg. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and drinks. All paper products will be supplied.
Aug. 22 is the deadline to purchase tickets to attend the Generals Touchdown Club’s tailgate fundraiser from 4:30 to 6 p.m. prior to the game against Strasburg at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 at Stonewall Jackson High School.
Two platter options will be offered: pork barbecue for $8 or a hot dog for $5.

The Shenandoah County Extension Service will offer the fair-themed camp “Horses, Goats and Cows, Oh My!” from 9 a.m. to noon August 28-30 for ages 5-8.
Campers will get a behind-the-scenes view of what it takes to show and exhibit items at the fair, visit the animals in the livestock bars, enjoy craft activities and games, have lunch and receive a souvenir T-shirt.
The cost is $35, which includes admission, crafts and lunch. Pre-registration is required by calling 459-6140 or visit www.scprsignup.info.
