WINCHESTER — Bud and Butters, two brothers who are bound together by love and contractual requirements, are looking for a place to call home.

Darlene Foreman, animal caretaker at the Frederick County Esther Boyd Animal Shelter, said that the two, 2-year-old cats have been at the shelter since Sept. 13. They came to the shelter together, following the death of their previous owner.

They will need to be adopted together into their next home, as well. The adoption fee for the two of them is a total of $30.

Foreman said that the cats will go along fine in most environments. Children have visited them in the shelter previously without any problems.

“They are good with dogs,” Foreman said. “They had a dog in the household.”

Foreman said that Bud and Butters are both indoor pets. They have both been neutered but have not received their rabies shot.
