Coe Sherrard, owner of the Woodstock Café & Shoppes, 117 S. Main St. in Woodstock, has a unique gift idea for wine lovers. The Private Wine Tasting at the café for $300 is a six-person package that includes six wines and five courses of paired gourmet appetizers. The event is private and can be scheduled anytime during normal operating hours at the café.
“I act as the sommelier, describing the wines and pairings,” Sherrard said. The package can be customized for a different number of guests and different levels of wines to pair.
Jan Graber Kerns, of Creekside Gifts in Winchester, has a wide selection of Christmas collectibles from Mark Roberts, Byer’s Choice, and Meadowbrooke Gourds.
“They always make for a unique gift,” Kerns said.
