Recipes: Stay cozy and warm with a latte

These sweet, creamy and caffeinated drink recipes submitted by local restaurants and coffee shops are perfect for those who love a cup of Joe with a sweet twist.

¾ oz. organic maple syrup

10 oz. whole milk

Pinch of ground nutmeg

Pinch of cinnamon

Steam milk. Top off with ground nutmeg and cinnamon for taste.

2 shots espresso or very strong coffee

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup milk, steamed

In large mug, mix coffee and chocolate syrup together. Add vanilla and stir again. In medium size Mason jar, add milk. Place lid tightly on jar and shake for 30 seconds. Remove lid and microwave for 45 seconds, and then add to coffee mixture. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with additional chocolate syrup.

3 tablespoons vanilla extract

1 tablespoon caramel sauce

1 cup of milk

Brew espresso and add flavors. Stir and add steamed milk. Top with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
