Love and Faithfullness Church in Front Royal will hold a service at 7 p.m. today with special testimony by Randy Thompson. Information: David Clanagan at 540-247-1739.



Wakemans Grove Church of the Brethren in Edinburg will hold an outdoor concert “Under the Oaks” starting at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.

There will be games, food, an old-fashioned cakewalk followed by a concert at 6 p.m. featuring the Grove Youth Band. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. An offering will be accepted to benefit Family Promise of Shenandoah County. Information: 984-8383.


Beginning Sunday, Mt. Calvary United Church of Christ in Woodstock will hold worship services at 9:15 a.m.

Pastor Richard Craver will be the speaker. Brenda Bladen will serve as the new church pianist.


Bethel United Methodist Church in Front Royal will host a gospel sing and ice cream social starting at noon Sunday. Featured will be performances by The Amazing Grace Gospel Band. Bring lawn chair. Held rain or shine.


Laurel Hill Christian Church in Lebanon Church will celebrate homecoming during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. The guest speaker will be Pastor Ronald Stiefel. A covered-dish dinner will follow at 12:30 p.m. and afternoon program at 2 p.m. featuring the Ambassadors of Joy.
