Woodstock
College news
Allyson Copp of Woodstock received a bachelor's degree in elementary education at Radford University during graduation ceremonies on Dec. 20.

She was also named to the dean's list for the fall semester.

She is the daughter of Cindy and Steve Copp of Woodstock.

Star Tannery
College news
Julie Utterback and Brittany Utterback, both of Star Tannery, have been named to their colleges' dean's list for the fall semester.

Julie is a junior at Virginia Tech and Brittany is a sophomore at James Madison University. They are the daughters of Steve and Donna Utterback.

Edinburg
Card shower
A card shower is planned for Linda Borden of Edinburg, who will celebrate their 60th birthday on Jan. 22.

Her address is 1863 Readus Road, Edinburg 22824.

FCE news
The Edinburg Family and Community Education Club made plans for the upcoming year at its meeting Jan. 4.

Club members volunteered 196 hours, sent 792 cards and made 403 shut-in calls in December.

The next meeting is Feb. 4.
