Engagements

Naquin-Townsend

Gary and Judy Allison of Front Royal and Michael Naquin of Upper Marlboro, Md., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lee Naquin, to Bryan Curtis Townsend, son of Glen and Virginia Allen of White Stone and Don and Karen Townsend of Mathews.

Miss Naquin, a 1999 graduate of Warren County High School, earned a master's degree from Old Dominion University in 2005. She is a third-grade teacher in Newport News.

Mr. Townsend, a 1998 graduate of North Umberland High School, is a student at the ITT Technical Institute. He is also a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and a CH-46 helicopter crew chief.

An April wedding is planned.

Morris-Sweitzer

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Morris of Front Royal have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah A., to George K. Sweitzer, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Sweitzer of Smithsburg, Md.

Miss Morris, a 1999 graduate of Warren County High School, earned an associate degree in nursing from Lord Fairfax Community College. She is a registered nurse at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital.

Mr. Sweitzer, a 1992 graduate of Smithsburg High School and a 1997 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, is an assistant store manager at Sears and Automotive in Hagerstown, Md.

A July 4 wedding is planned.

Wilmerton-Custer

Heidi Simmons of Broadway has announced the engagement of her daughter, Caitlin Wilmerton, to John T. Custer, son of Steven and Doris Custer of New Market.

Miss Wilmerton, the granddaughter of Emerson and Virginia Wilmerton of New Market, is a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. She is a student at National College.

Mr. Custer, the grandson of Victorene Custer of Quicksburg and Berlin and Bonnie Barb of Mt. Jackson, is a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and Triplett Tech.

A July 10, 2010, wedding is planned.

Baker-Blaine

Dennis and Christine Baker of Mt. Jackson have announced the engagement of their daughter, Emily, to Tyler Blaine, son of Terry Blaine and Patricia Fulk, both of Broadway.

Miss Baker, a radiologist, is employed by Shenandoah Farms.

Mr. Blaine is an electrician at T and T Services.

An Oct. 17 wedding is planned.
