Emily Kibler of Toms Brook graduated with honors from Bridgewater College with a bachelor's degree in family and consumer sciences on May 17.
Brigette Funk earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Eastern Mennonite University.
She is the daughter of Robert and Glenda Funk of Toms Brook.

The son of Allen and Paula Judy of Strasburg, he is a 2007 graduate of Strasburg High School.

Army Pvt. Joey S. Sonner has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson at Columbia, S.C.
He is a 2003 graduate of Central High School.
Garden club news
Lynn Hoffman discussed growing and using dried flowers at the May 7 meeting of the Shenandoah Garden Club.
The beautification projects at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital and Skyline Terrace Nursing Home were discussed. The club made more than $700 from its plant sale.
Linda Caesar and Micki King received the 2008 artistic and horticulture awards, respectively.
4-H news
The Shenandoah County Extension Office is accepting applications for its Woodstock 4-H Day Camp for ages 5-8 on June 29-July 1.
