Front Royal
Lisa and Mark Jeffries of Front Royal have announced the birth of a son, Mark Anthony II, on June 2 at Warren Memorial Hospital.

Grandparents are Jack Burgess of Manassas, Diane Burgess and Shelby Henry, both of Front Royal, and Cecil Jeffries of Culpeper.

Salvation Army news
The Front Royal Salvation Army has overnight camp scholarships available at Camp Happyland at Richardsville for sixth- through 12th-grade girls June 27-July 2 and for ages 7-12 July 13-18.

Christopher Anderson received an associate degree in general civil engineering from Lord Fairfax Community College on May 15. He was also named to the dean's list for the spring semester.

He is the son of Rick and Tina Anderson of Front Royal.

David Herman was inducted into the Byzantium chapter of the National English Honor Society at Randolph-Macon Academy.

He is the son of L. David and Karen Herman of Woodstock.
