Yates-Harlow
Amanda Marie Yates and Brett Kristen Harlow were married May 9 at the Church of the Valley at Strasburg.
The bride is the daughter of Kim Yates of Strasburg and Charles Yates III of Front Royal. The groom is the son of Carlen Mooney of Mt. Jackson and William Harlow of Bayse.
The Rev. Jay Ahlemann performed the double-ring ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore her mother's wedding dress, a floor-length white, sleeveless gown with a square neckline and a cathedral-length train and ruffles. She wore a finger-length veil and carried a bouquet of white roses.
The maid of honor was Victoria Lynn Yates of Strasburg, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Karley Lewis and Amy Cogar, both of Front Royal, and Amanda Tigar, Leslie Andrews and Millie Fincham, all of Strasburg.
The best man was Kyle Harlow of Mt. Jackson, brother of the groom.
Ushers were William Harlow Jr. of Mt. Jackson, brother of the groom, and Jason Beattie, Levi Troxell, Keith Hernandez and Robbie Gossard, all of Strasburg.
A reception followed at the Strasburg Ramada.
The bride, a 2006 graduate of Warren County High School, is employed by Wal-Mart in Front Royal.
The groom, a 2004 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, is employed by the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office.
Following a honeymoon to Ocean City, Md., the couple are living in Strasburg.
