Dodson-Brown

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph G. Hockman of Middletown have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sandra Kay Dodson, to Jeffrey Wayne Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Brown of Frederick County.
A July 4 wedding is planned.

Milam-Anderson

Mark Milam of Luray and Sarah Schaeffer of Penn Laird have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jackie Milam, to Kevin Anderson, son of Scott and Kay Anderson of Winchester.

Miss Milam, a 2008 graduate of James Madison University, is a graduate student at JMU.

Mr. Anderson, a 2008 graduate of James Madison University, is employed by Commonwealth One Federal Credit Union in Harrisonburg.

A July 18 wedding is planned.

Grim-Varner

James Grim of Mt. Jackson and Callista Edmonds of Killeen, Texas, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Dawn Grim, to Rickey Lee Varner Jr., son of Rickey L. Varner Sr. and Linda Varner of Harrisonburg.

Miss Grim, a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, received a diploma from National College. She is a barber at the Downtown Barbershop in Harrisonburg.

Mr. Varner, a graduate of Victory Baptist Academy, received a diploma from National College. He is a transportation specialist at Quarles Petroleum.

A July 25 wedding is planned.


DelBalzo-Pipkins

Mr. and Mrs. Michael DelBalzo of Winchester have announced the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca, to Kyle Pipkins.

Miss DelBalzo, a graduate of Handley High, earned a hospitality degree from James Madison University. She is a catering coordinator at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington.

Mr. Pipkins, who earned a political science degree from Maryville College, is a business analyst at Instos in Rockville, Md.

An August wedding is planned.


Ransier-Wood

Penny Ransier of New Market and 1st Sgt. William E. Ransier of Tulsa, Okla., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Renee, to David Clifton Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wood of Maurertown.

Miss Ransier is a student at Lord Fairfax Community College.

Mr. Wood, a graduate of Strasburg High School, is employed by Carmeuse Lime and Stone in Strasburg.

A July 25 wedding is planned.
