Heishman-Orndorff

Mr. and Mrs. Steven T. Heishman of Fort Valley have announced the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth, to Brian Orndorff, son of Carlton Orndorff of Zepp and Deborah Orndorff of Edinburg.

Miss Heishman, a 2005 graduate of Central High School, is a 2007 graduate of Rockingham Memorial Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and Blue Ridge Community College and a 2008 graduate of Jackson Community College Diagnostic Sonography Program. She is an ultrasound technologist at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Orndorff, a 2004 graduate of Central High School, attended Lord Fairfax Community College. He is a heavy equipment operator at Orndorff's Logging and is also employed by Orndorff's Rainbow Trout Farm.

A Sept. 5 wedding is planned.

Brill-Orndorff

Gary Grill of Canton, Ohio, and Sherry Richardson of Strasburg have announced the engagement of their daughter, Claudia S. Brill, to Michael Orndorff, son of Roger and Lois Orndorff of Strasburg.

Miss Brill graduated from Ashford University with a bachelor's degree in social and criminal justice and is employed by Continuing Care.

Mr. Orndorff, a graduate of Strasburg High School, is employed by Carmuese Lime.

A Sept. 26 wedding is planned.

Kerns-Gurewitz

John and Donna Kerns of Stephens City have announced the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Rae, to Christopher Paul Gurewitz, son of Debra Dent of Winchester.

Miss Kerns is a 1998 graduate of Sherando High School and a 2003 graduate of Shenandoah University.

Mr. Gurewitz is a 1999 graduate of Handley High School.

An Aug. 29 wedding is planned.
