WOODSTOCK -- Shenandoah Memorial Hospital is in need of volunteers to perform various tasks throughout the day.
Volunteer coordinator Lee Jette said the hospital has 198 volunteers, but only 132 of them are active. People can work in six different spots -- the front desk, gift shop, emergency room, outpatient area, diagnostic services or Mountain View Orthopedics -- from 8 a.m. to noon, 12-4 p.m. or 4-8 p.m., he said.
"All they need is a good attitude," Jette said.
There is no age limit, but volunteers must be at least 18. Jette said the average age for a volunteer now is about 75 years old.
