Tara and Robert Lockhart of Front Royal have announced the birth of a daughter, Lorna Louise, on July 16 at Warren Memorial Hospital.

Grandparents are Billy Joe Huffman, Dawn Truehart, Tammy and Tommy Miller and Brenda and Norman Williams.

Community pool

The Claude A. Stokes Jr. Community Swimming Pool will close on Wednesday at 4 p.m. because of the Front Royal firemen's parade.
