James and Melinda Krochune of Billerica, Mass., have announced the birth of a daughter, Eloise Grace, born June 17 at Winchester Hospital, in Winchester, Mass.

Army Pvt. Wayne C. Warner has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson at Columbia, S.C.

The grandson of Mary Shrout of Winchester, he is a 2006 graduate of Sherando High School.

Air Force Airman Jason W. Hudson graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base at San Antonio, Texas.

The son of Theodosia Streit of Winchester, he is a 2003 graduate of James Wood High School.

Army Pfc. David M. Lewis has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson at Columbia, S.C.

He is the son of Tim and Naomi Lewis of Winchester and grandson of Dave and Fran Lewis of Edinburg. He received an associate degree in 2008 from Northern Virginia Community College.

Air Force Airman Robert C. Landis graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base at San Antonio, Texas.

The son of Robert Landis of Winchester, he is a 2007 graduate of Keystone Christian Academy.
