McFarlane anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. James D. McFarlane of Middletown celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 22.
The couple were married Aug. 22, 1959, in Boyce.
Mrs. McFarlane is the former Mary Bowman of Warren County.
They have three daughters, Rima McFarlane and Amy Wines, both of Middletown, and Joy McFarlane of Winchester, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Johnson anniversary
George and Juanita Johnson of Fishers Hill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 8 at a party, given by their family, at the Ramada Inn in Strasburg.
The couple were married Aug. 8, 1959, at the Toms Brook United Methodist Church.
They have three children, Burton Johnson, Keith Johnson and Mel Johnson, five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
