Strasburg

Ira D. Newman of Berea, Ky., has been appointed judge of the 25th Judicial Circuit Court of Kentucky.

He is a graduate of Berea College and the University of Kentucky Law School.

He is married to the former Joslynn Helsley of Strasburg, daughter of Frances Dinges Helsley and the late Bud Helsley. They have three daughters.

Kendall Herbaugh won the bronze medal at the Junior USA Olympic Soccer Skills Competition July 24 in California. She is the daughter of Marshall and Lisa Herbaugh of Woodstock.
