Barry S. Schultz has arrived for duty in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

He is deputy chief of the Document and Media Exploitation Center at the Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy in Elkridge, Md.

The son of Roy B. Schultz and Irene W. Schultz of Berryville, he is a 1980 graduate of Clarke County High School.
