Clatterbuck-Burke

Debbie Clatterbuck and Ricky Cromer, both of Warren County, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Lynn Clatterbuck, to Zachary Alan Burke, son of Donald and Shari Burke of Warren County.

Miss Clatterbuck, a 2008 graduate of Warren County High School, is employed by Subway in Front Royal.

Mr. Burke, a 2005 graduate of Royal Christian Academy, is employed by Domenix Corp. in Chantilly.

A Dec. 11 wedding is planned.

Kipps-Lindsey

Dwight and Barbara Kipps of Timberville have announced the engagement of their daughter, Alisha Catherine, to Charles Burgess Lindsey, Jr., son of Charles and Lynne Lindsey of Alexandria.

Miss Kipps, a 2002 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, earned bachelor's and master's degrees in education from James Madison University. She is employed by the Poquoson City Schools.

Mr. Lindsey, a 2002 graduate of West Potomac High School, earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Virginia Military Institute. He is serving in the U.S. Air Force.

A Nov. 21 wedding is planned.

Tigar-Powell

Carlos and Janet Keaton of Front Royal and Steven Mills of Marshall have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Faith Tigar, to J. Kevin Powell Jr., son of Candy Palmer of Front Royal.

Miss Tigar is a 2008 graduate of Skyline High School.

Mr. Powell, the grandson of Paul Horton of Front Royal, is a 2007 graduate of Sherando High School. He is employed by M.C. Dean in Washington, D.C.

An April 17 wedding is planned.

Clinedinst-Carper

William and Martha Clinedinst of Mt. Jackson have announced the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Nicole, to Zachary Carper, son of Scott and Sherri Carper of Elkton and Joyce Carper and Randy Hawkins of Basye and grandson of Betty Carper of Edinburg and Faye Martz of Mt. Jackson.

An Aug. 28 wedding is planned.
