Senior volunteers

The Retired Senior Volunteer Program matches the skills, interests and time people 55 and older have available to meet community needs throughout the Lord Fairfax Planning District. RSVP is sponsored by the Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging.

The following opportunities are available:

• Leslie Keyser Fox Elementary School needs tutors, readers and aides.

• Warren Memorial Hospital needs information desk volunteers to work four- hour shifts.

• The Warren County Humane Society needs volunteers to help with animals.

• Our Place needs volunteers to spend time with patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Salvation Army

The Front Royal Salvation Army needs volunteers for its thrift store.
