Red Cross news

The Top of Virginia chapter of the American Red Cross honored the following volunteers at its appreciation dinner Sept. 21:

Barney Stine, Clara Barton award for meritorious volunteer leadership; Phoebe West, Dottie Holt award; Pearl Ebert, Charles Zuckerman award; Lenore Eavis, Patty Bailey and Betsy Pullem, service to armed forces program; Lee and Jewell Tolliver and Rector and Helen Brown, exceptional volunteer services; and Sue Campbell, disaster services award.

Charles Zuckerman and Narce Caliva was honored for 60 and 50 years of service, respectively.
