Cockrell anniversary

Jim and Shirley Cockrell of Woodstock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 24 at a party given by their family at Creekside Catering in Edinburg.

The couple were married Oct. 24, 1959, at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Falls Church.

Mrs. Cockrell is the former Shirley Dailey.

They have four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
