Garden club news

The New Market Garden Club hosted the New Market Family and Community Education Club and the Cohee Garden Club at its Christmas luncheon on Dec. 8 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Donna Hughes, children's librarian at Handley Regional Library, entertained with music and stories.

Members collected gifts for the Shenandoah County Pregnancy Center. Lois Coon and Janice White won the prize for the most attractive wrapped gifts.
