Apple Blossom Festival pages named

Three boys have been named pages in the court of the queen of the 83rd Apple Blossom Festival, April 23 through May 2.

Daniel T. Brill, the son of Kelly and Gerald Brill of Capon Springs, W.Va., and grandson of Nancy and Kermit Slonaker of Winchester and Patricia and Franklin Brill of Capon Springs, is a third-grader at East Hardy (W.Va.) Middle School. He attends the Willow Chapel United Methodist Church.

Philip P. Reese, the son of Mary and Gary Reese of Winchester and grandson of Joan and Philip Bettendorf of Winchester and Penny and John Blaisdel of Middletown, is a first-grader at Sacred Heart Academy. He plays Upward soccer and basketball, is a Tiger Scout and attends the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. His mother was maid of honor in 1982 and his grandfather, Philip Bettendorf, was festival president in 1987 and 1988.

Jalen M. Tyson, the son of Ivy and Kenan Tyson and grandson of Toni and Warren Thompson, Beverly Edwards and John Tyson, all of Winchester, is a third-grader at Red Bud Run Elementary School. He participates in baseball, football and basketball and attends the Shiloh Baptist Church in Millwood.
