Handley Regional Library will offer free computer workshops at Handley and Bowman libraries in March and April.
Classes at Handley are on basic e-mail, introduction to the Internet, beginning MS Word, Excel and getting to know the computer. Registration or further information is available by calling 662-9041, ext. 19.
Classes at Bowman are on beginning MS Word, basic MS Powerpoint, getting to know the computer, Excel, introduction to the Internet, basic MS publisher, online database searching and basic MS access. Registration or further information is available by calling 869-9000, ext. 203.
Handley Regional Library's winter reading program, "Read to Your Bunny," begins Monday and runs through March 27.
Registration will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Further information is available by calling 869-9000.

Julie Utterback, a senior at Virginia Tech, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester.
She is the daughter of Steve and Donna Utterback of Star Tannery.
Brittany Utterback, a junior at James Madison University, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester.

Marine Corps Pfc. Matthew W. Dyke completed basic training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island, S.C.
He is the son of Jodie L. and John P. Dyke of Middletown.
