The following local sixth-graders have been named to the A honor roll at Randolph-Macon Academy for the second quarter:

Quinn Blankenship, Meghan Melberg, Gabriel Williams, Johnny Wong and William Wong.

Timothy Melancon, a sixth-grader at Randolph-Macon Academy, has been named to the A-B honor roll for the second quarter.

Parks, rec news

The Warren County Parks and Recreation Department and Skyline High School will offer a cheerleading prep clinic for rising seventh- through 12th-graders.
