Ammons anniversary
Sterling and Beverly Ammons of Front Royal celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 19 at a reception, given by their daughters, at their home.
The couple were married June 16, 1950, in York, S.C., by the Rev. R.A. Hodge.
They have four daughters, 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A total of 32 people attended.
Ladehoff anniversary
Retired Col. and Mrs. Harold L. Ladehoff of Woodstock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 5 at a luau, sponsored by the Hale Koa Hotel, on Oahu, Hawaii. They were presented with orchid leis and were serenaded by Glenn Medeiros.
The couple were married June 16, 1960, in Washingtonville, N.Y., by the Rev. Stephen Garrison.
They have a daughter, Melissa Folz of Alexandria, and a son, Patrick Ladehoff of Venice Fla., and two grandchildren.
About 800 people attended.
