STRASBURG -- King Street Art Works will host its first-ever art walk along businesses on King Street tonight.
The walk will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at several participating businesses, including Bygones, Buggy B's, The Home and Garden Shop, Cristina's Cafe, and the Strasburg Library, said Marcy McCann, owner of the building that houses King Street Art Works.
Each stop on the walk will feature a different artist, some of whom will not only showcase their art, but will also be demonstrating their craft. Artists such as Kelly Walker will be painting at Buggy B's and Ken Miller will also be painting at the gallery, McCann said.
Tony Coviello, a local artist specializing in plein air painting, will also be painting either inside Cristina's Cafe or in the side garden.
Though there are multiple stops on the scheduled walk, there is no set order participants have to take to get to the culmination of the event at the gallery's monthly party from 7 to 10 p.m., featuring the rock band Shortness of Breath.
"There is no rhyme or reason, just do it at your own pace," McCann said.
