Tamkin-George
Kent and Teresa Tamkin of Fort Valley have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth, to Dustin Paige George, son of Dennis and Kim George of Edinburg.
Miss Tamkin earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Shenandoah University and is employed by the Mt. Calvary Daycare Center in Mt. Jackson.
Mr. George is employed by Loudoun County Fire and Rescue.
A May 14 wedding is planned.
Davis-Smith
Betty Davis of Front Royal has announced the engagement of her daughter, Cindi Dawn, to Bruce Charles Smith II of Sterling, son of Bruce and Suzanne Smith of Winchester.
Miss Davis, also the daughter of the late Edwin Davis Jr., is a 1997 graduate of Warren County High School and a 2002 graduate of George Mason University. She is an IT consultant at ICF International in Fairfax.
Mr. Smith, a 1996 graduate of Handley High School and a 2001 graduate of Lord Fairfax Community College, is a facilities technician at Savvis Communications in Sterling.
A Nov. 6 wedding is planned.
