Ryan Leigh Sharp and Elijah Alexander Gheen were married Nov. 13 at the Columbia Furnace Church of the Brethren.
The bride is the daughter of David Sharp of Fort Myers, Fla., and Lorie Sharp and Earl Bauserman, both of Winchester. The groom is the son of Larry Gheen of Strasburg and Susan and Richard Buchanan of Fort Valley.
The Rev. Larry Cook performed the double-ring ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father and stepfather, the bride wore a white strapless satin A-line ball gown with a beaded embroidered metallic bodice and cathedral train. She wore a crystal princess crown and carried a cascading bouquet of white roses and lilies and purple carnations.
The matron of honor was Danielle Moore of Front Royal, cousin of the bride. She wore a formal-length wisteria jersey gown with a shoulder strap, charmeuse bust and long cascading back and carried a mini-version of the bride's bouquet.
Bridesmaids were Carmen Pennington, sister of the bride, and Philathia Johnson, both of Winchester, Tiffany Swanger of Midland and Mirah Fields of Woodstock. They each wore a formal-length lapis jersey gown with a shoulder strap, charmeuse bust and long cascading back and each carried a bouquet of a white lily, purple mini-carnations and ruscus.
The best man was Adam Gheen of Roanoke, brother of the groom. Ushers were Noland Foltz, brother of the groom, and Patrick Bradley, both of Edinburg, Joseph Nicholson of Front Royal and John Coverstone of Woodstock.
The flower girl was Carleigh Pennington, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Landon Gheen, son of the couple.
A reception followed at the Woodstock National Guard armory.
The bride, a 2002 graduate of Strasburg High School, is a hairstylist at Twisted Salon in Strasburg.
The groom, a1998 graduate of Central High School, is employed by R.R. Donnelly in Strasburg.
The couple are living in Strasburg.
