Handley Library to close for festival

WINCHESTER -- Handley Regional Library will be closed on May 4 and May 5 in observance of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, a library press release said.
All libraries in the system will reopen on schedule on May 7 at 10 a.m. Stewart Bell Jr. Archives, located in the lower level of Handley Library, will open at 1 p.m.
The library's Facebook page and website, www.handleyregional.org, will be available to library users. Current Handley Regional Library cardholders may download ebooks and books on tape or access magazine and newspaper articles through the library system's online resources. Information for family history research on HeritageQuest is a quick link from "Our Services" on the library's web page. Stories for children are available through TumbleBooks.
