School news
Glenn Schoonover III, the son of Lynne Schoonover of Front Royal and Glenn Schoonover of Star Tannery, has been named to Randolph-Macon Academy's President's List for the third quarter of the 2011-12 school year. Glenn is a freshman at Randolph-Macon.

Flint Hill
School news
Marc Cugnon, of Flint Hill, a junior at Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly, was accepted into the High School Leaders Program at the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at The University of Virginia, held each summer at the university.
Acceptance into the Sorensen Institute is highly competitive. Applicants are evaluated on academic performance, written essays and personal interview.
The Sorensen Institute's HSLP offers concentrated study in Virginia politics and government for high school students from across the state.
