College news
The Shenandoah Valley Manufactureers' Association Inc. has announced that Dugan Schmid earned its scholarship for the upcoming academic school year.

Schmid's father, Randall, is employed at Berryville Graphics, a longstanding member of SVMA. Dugan Schmid plans to transfer from Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown to begin his third year of college at The University of Virginia, with a major in mechanical engineering.

Stephenson
College news
Jillie Ann Beck, of Stephenson, graduated from Radford University at the end of the spring semester.

Beck, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Beck of 281 Woods Mill Dr., earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology.

Winchester
College news
Eliza Kutrieb, daughter of Deborah McCormick, both of Winchester, was named to the spring 2012 Dean's List at Shenandoah University. Kutrieb is a public health major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
