Koontz-Burner

Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Koontz of Dayton, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Katelyn Dawn Koontz, to Jeremey Lee Burner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burner of Edinburg.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Virginia Tech with bachelor of science degrees in accounting and agricultural and applied economics. She is employed as a loan analyst with First Bank & Trust.

The prospective groom received a bachelor of science degree in agricultural and applied economics from Virginia Tech in 2008. He is employed as a farm loan officer with the USDA- Farm Service Agency.

A Sept. 29 wedding is planned in Elkton.
