Colonial town to offer Virginia residents free passes

Colonial Williamsburg has announced that Virginia residents who buy a single day admission pass now through Oct. 31 will receive unlimited admission to Colonial Williamsburg's Revolutionary City and Art Museums through the end of 2012.

A press release from Colonial Williamsburg said the offer is especially valuable during this time of year because of the roll-out of new programming throughout the fall and holiday seasons, new art exhibitions and the natural decorations for the holidays.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.colonialwilliamsburg.com/plan/special-offers/va-resident/ or at Colonial Williamsburg's Visitor Center.
