Kurtz-Pittman
SFC Ret.and Mrs. Richard J. Kurtz of Edinburg have announced the engagement of their son, Sgt. James P. Kurtz to Amy L. Pittman daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pittman of Elkwood.
Miss Pittman, a 2005 graduate of Madison County High School is employed by BB&T of Remington.
SGT Kurtz is a 2004 graduate of Massanutten Military Academy, Woodstock. Having returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan he is currently stationed at Fort Drum, N.Y.
The wedding ceremony is set for Dec. 29.
