Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Armel, of Winchester, announce the engagement of the daughter, Barbara Armel Sweeney, to Nathan Pence, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Pence of Edinburg.

The groom to be is part owner and sales director for Wholesome Foods and Wholesome Energy in Edinburg. The wedding will be Oct. 14.
