Smith-Hoppe
Jennifer Smith and Nicholas Hoppe were married on June 16 at Prospect Hill Plantation Inn in Louisa, where the reception also took place. The bride wore a couture princess ball-gown by Hevre Marriage. The bride's parents are E.V. and Linda Smith, of Troy, and the groom's parents are Richard and Sharon Hoppe, of Linden.

The ceremony was officiated by friend of the bride Justin Sanders. The matron of honor was Katie Gar Ward, sister of bride, and the bridesmaid was Claire Crain Brown, friend of bride. The best man was Howard T. Brown II, friend of bride and groom, and ushers were the bride's friends, Ben Hickman and Josh Dierauer.

The flower girl was the groom's niece, Mackenzie Thompson, and the ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Mark Thompson.

The bride graduated from Fluvanna County High School and is employed by Move Better Physical Therapy. The groom graduated from Warren County High School and is employed by Best Buy.

The couple planned a honeymoon trip to Virginia Beach and reside in Fluvanna County.
