Wedding -- Pence-SweeneyNathan Pence and Barbara Sweeney were married on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. with a candlelight service, officiated by the Rev. Robert Berghuis at the Union Forge United Methodist Church in Edinburg. The best man was Dean Pence, father of the groom. The bride was escorted by her father, Buddy Armel. The matron of honor was Brenda Alexander, sister of the bride. The flower girl was Lily-Ann Feathers and ring bearer was Layton Carrol. Jeffrey Wilt and George Irvin served as ushers. A reception immediately followed the ceremony at the church, hosted by the Hollar Family. The honeymoon was in South Beach in Miami, Fla. The couple resides in Edinburg.
