Carrie Elizabeth Cline and Eric Thomas Proskey were united in marriage on Sept. 29 at the Shenandoah River Lodge in Woodstock. The officiant was Pastor Jim Hardenbrook.
The bride is the daughter of Alvin and Sharon Cline of Edinburg. The groom is the son of Ronald Proskey Sr. of Hanover, Md., and Betty Person of Bloomingdale, Mich.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Stephanie Suess, college friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sheena Haney, Jennifer Fletcher and Ali Gillingham. Matt Imig, childhood friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Michael Merling, Tim Cline and Ben Owen. The ring bearer was the bride's service dog, Cody.
The bride is employed by the Department of Defense as a K-9 handler. The groom is employed by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office as a deputy sheriff.
After a honeymoon trip to Antigua the couple resides in Ashburn.
