Daily readers weigh in on movie options
Readers of The Northern Virginia Daily's Facebook page posted the following unedited reviews for movies currently in theaters. Overall, "Man of Steel," "The Internship" and "Epic" received favorable remarks.
"Man of Steel"
Sharon Fritts Jones: Liked but not loved however the kids loved it, 18 and 13. It might just be a generation thing. I get so board with the fighting. It's not like you don't know who wins.
Marialos Circolo: AWESOME movie!!!....double message and no swearing at ALL..!!!
Charity Lynn Burner: It was awesome!!!!! A must see even for the ladies!!!!
Nancy King Hines: we went to the Alamo to see it Saturday night, the movie was extremely loud, it wasn't worth standing in line for at all. Wasn't as good as we thought it would be, it was an okay movie.
Dana Harvey: It sucked!!! Very disappointed!!
Jeremy Woodall: Dudes crazy^^^ best superman movie yet
Of other films, readers said:
Shannon Coulter: I saw Epic and the Internship at the drive in a couple weekends ago, loved them both.
Melissa Cline Roberts: I saw epic with my son (age 6) and he loved it. Very cute movie.
Isaac Kohne: Internship. Laughed till my ribs hurt.
