“Despicable Me 2″ — Rated PG
Virginia Rosen: Normally sequels are disappointing, but Despicable Me 2 was a pleasant surprise for me. Everyone in the family can find a character they can relate to and some of you may find parts of the storyline paralleling your own life story (Ha Ha). Gru (played by Steve Carell) manages to pull at your heart strings once again in this somewhat predictable movie. Kristen Wig (playing the part of Lucy) is wonderfully endearing and memorable. Even though you know where the film is going, you still want to go on the ride with the characters. Expect more Minions, yes, MORE MINIONS! They steal the movie with their endless antics. You will find yourself laughing at every turn. There were times I laughed so hard, I missed some of the dialogue that followed. Even the very young kids will enjoy this movie and as parents we know just how hard it is to find a movie that can hold their attention spans. If you are looking for good film to take the entire family to, then this is the one. Plan on staying in your seat for the entire movie and hang around for the credits, you won’t be sorry.
Jeff Wilson: We went to see Despicable Me 2 last Friday and felt it was as good as or better than the original. There were more minions in this one and the story line was very good.
Ashley E Gunnoe Wilkins: Despicable Me was still cute and funny
Jack Starry: Despicable Me 2 was even better than the first!
“Monsters University” — Rated G
Jodi Good Graham: We saw monsters university and while it was very good – I don’t think it was a good as Monsters Inc. have not seen despicable me 2 yet but looking forward to seeing it
Pam Jane Graham: I agree Monsters U was not as gd as regular one and Despicable Me 2 was funny and my girls laughed through the whole thing.
Man of Steel — Rated PG-13
Patricia Allen Stephens: I thought it was a good movie….However at the price the Regal charged in Manassas for Imax-3D I won’t be going again anytime soon!
Jeremy Woodall: By far the best superman yet. All that needs to be said.
Becky Sterling Cornell: i loved it! We had three generations that went to see it and we all thought it was worth seeing a second time.
Ella Silveus Bavaro: Luvd it!!
Ian Hartless: Best Superman movie since Superman II.
Victoria Hern: Boring and Origins for the 3rd time. Action was so fast that I got dizzy. Lois is dull and where’s Jimmy?
