Apple Blossom Festival princesses named

Princesses to serve in the Court of Queen Shenandoah for the 2015 Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival have been named. They are:

• Karla Colina. She is representing James Wood High School, where she is a senior. She is the daughter of Pilar and Ivan Colina of Winchester and granddaughter of Raul Templo of Winchester.

• Katelyn Edwards. She is representing Sherando High School, where she is a senior. She is the daughter of Angela and Thomas Edwards of Stephens City and granddaughter of Linda Grim, Tom and Rita Grim and Barbara and Tom Edwards, all of Stephens City.

• Brianna Gaston. She is representing Clarke County High School, where she is a senior. She is the daughter of Pat and Randy Gaston of White Post and granddaughter of Clara and Don Gaston of Clearbrook and the late Muriel and Daniel Daley.

• Lexy Keeler. She is representing Millbrook High School, where she is a senior. She is the daughter of Kristie and Blair Keeler of Winchester and granddaughter of Judith and Raymond Robbins of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, and Diane and Ronald Keeler of Winchester.

• Ellen Volinsky. She is representing John Handley High School, where she is a senior. She is the daughter of Diane and John Volinsky of Winchester and granddaughter of Sandra and Winston Wright of Deltaville and Lynnie and Simon Volinsky of Winchester.

The Princesses will accompany Queen Shenandoah LXXXVIII and her court to  festival functions throughout the 88th Festival, which is scheduled for April 24 – May 3. They will participate in the Coronation Ceremony to be held at 1:30 p.m. May 1 at John Handley High School. They will ride on the royal float in the Grand Feature Parade scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. May 2.
