Congressional art competition slated

Virginia’s 10th Congressional District is sponsoring an art competition for high school students in the Northern Virginia-based district.

Students should drop off their completed artwork between 1 and 6 p.m. March 25 at Enterprise Hall on the campus of the George Washington Virginia Science and Technology campus at 45085 University Drive, Suite 303, Ashburn. Art submitted must be ready to hang and entries are limited to two per student.

On May 4, first, second, third, honorable mention and best in show awards will be announced. The winner of the competition will have his or her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol.
