Daniel Corey, a Christendom College alumnus, has been nominated for a Helen Hayes award for his supporting role in “One Man, Two Guvnors.”
Corey, who graduated with a history degree from the college in Front Royal in 2003, was a member of The Christendom Players while at the college.
The Helen Hayes award, named after actress Helen Hayes, recognizes excellence in professional theater in the Washington, D.C. area. The award will be announced in early April, according to a news release.
Corey performed in “One Man, Two Guvnors” with the Tysons’ 1st Stage theater production group in November. The release notes he has performed in or directed more than 70 theatrical productions.
