Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office Police Blotter, March 19-29

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

March 19: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a cell phone from a school on Stonewall Lane, Quicksburg. The phone was recovered.

March 23: A vandalism was reported. Someone damaged a building on Miller Road, Edinburg.

March 24: A larceny was reported. Someone removed packages from a residence on Cedar Creek Road, Star Tannery.

March 25: Cecil Norman Sturgell, of Edinburg, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Court date is 2 p.m. April 10 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

March 25: Jerry Bryant Mays, of Maurertown, was charged with pointing/brandishing a firearm. Court date is 9 a.m. May 21 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

March 26: Richard Joseph Carper Jr., of Woodstock, was charged with possession of marijuana. Court date is 11 a.m. April 24 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

March 27: Jeffrey Lynn Andrews, address unknown, charged with being a fugitive of justice from Florida. Court date is 9 a.m. March 30 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

March 29: Mayco Martinez, of Herndon, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated. Court date is 11 a.m. May 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

March 29: Trae Allen Walker, of Strasburg, was charged with underage possession of alcohol and for driving after illegally consuming alcohol. Court date is 2 p.m. April 10 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

March 29: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a radio and various tools from a vehicle parked on Turkey Knob Road, Mount Jackson.
