‘Company’ at Winchester Little Theater
The musical comedy “Company” will be performed at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Winchester Little Theater.

The musical is from a book by George Furth, with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and is directed by Sara Gomez.

In the play, confirmed bachelor Robert spends his 35th birthday contemplating his unmarried state and his married friends explain the pros and cons of having a spouse.

Taste of Harrisonburg

Boat show
The National Capital Boat Show will be held today through Sunday at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly.
Hours are today from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Chess challenge
Samuels Public Library in Front Royal will hold a chess challenge at 11 a.m. Saturday for ages 6 and older.

Benefit concert
Nothin’ Fancy with the Stevens Family will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Clarke County High School. Proceeds benefit the athletics department.

Cedar Creek concert series
The Cedar Creek Concert Series Winter Fare will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the cafeteria at Strasburg High School. It will feature performances by local artists and the school’s music students.

Antique appraisals

Bowman Library in Stephens City will show the movie “Tangled” at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Coin show
The Winchester Coin Club will hold a coin show from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Stonewall Ruritan building, 136 Fairground Road, Clearbrook. There will be 35 tables and 21 dealers of U.S. and world coins and currency.

Storytelling festival
Culpeper Tells, an annual storytelling festival featuring an entire day of performances, will be held Saturday at the State Theatre.

Shamrock 5K
The Shamrock 5K will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hillandale Park in Harrisonburg. The run, a beginner 5K, will be held rain or shine. Proceeds benefit the Shenandoah Valley High Rollers Wheelchair Basketball team.

The top three in each age division will receive a race medal. Refreshments will be provided before and after the race. No strollers or dogs will be permitted. Registration fee is $20.

Women in aviation
The Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly will celebrate the accomplishments of women in aviation and space exploration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet female role models and learn about the women who inspired them.
