Phi Delta Kappa meets at BRCC
Dr. John Almarode, interim department head for the Department of Educational Foundations and Exceptionalities at James Madison University, presented a program on education through brain-based learning at the meeting of Shenandoah Valley Phi Delta Kappa on March 17 at Blue Ridge Community College.
Students and professors from the education departments at JMU and Bridgewater College, along with active and retired educators, were among the 40 participants.
The group will hold its next meeting on April 30 at Traditions in Harrisonburg, where scholarships will be presented to future educators and the Distinguished Service Award will be presented. Information: Dale MacAllister, email@example.com.
